What is LIFE COACHING?
“Life coaching is a managed conversation that takes place between two people and aims to support sustainable change to behaviours or ways of thinking and focuses on learning and development”.(van Nieuwerburgh, 2007)
Life coaching is the science of new habit formation and ignites a process for a new way of life. During a series of sessions, the coach guides the coachee (the client) to set personal or professional goals and to develop action plans in order to achieve them.
The most important element of coaching is that the coachee will develop a positive mindset which will work as a catalyst to reprogram their limiting beliefs, old patterns and outdated behaviours. Therefore, new habits will be developed that will set new life changes. In life coaching, we believe people already have the answers inside them and the power to make the necessary life changes. The coach is serving as a guide and a catalyst that will help the coachee discover and access their own power.
